• The expanded meeting of the Environment and Food sector reviews its challenges and highlights its achievements

    On Monday morning, February 18, 2019, Asharqia Chamber, represented by the Committee of the Environment and Food, held an expanded meeting with the environment and food sector in order to highlight the challenges of the sector in the region and the most important opportunities for the sector's employees.

    The meeting hosted the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Alasala, Mohammed bin Ghazi Qonfula, and the Director of the Environment and Food Committee, Talal bin Sultan Al-Rashid.

     

    The meeting discussed the importance of extended meetings as it contributes to the consolidation of the concept of communication with the employees of the sector, which positively affects the service of the national economy in accordance with the Vision of the Kingdom 2030.

     

    Al-Rashid explained that these meetings are a good opportunity to talk about what is new in the environment and food sector.

    He pointed out that the meeting discussed many ideas and initiatives distinctive, which contribute to the improvement of the working environment in the business sector, in addition to discussing the challenges associated with the various sectors involved, and realistic solutions to overcome them through quality plans.

    Al-Rashid pointed out that these meetings are gaining importance in the review of opportunities that could represent a distinctive investment serving the environment and food sector and will be an important economic and trade anchor.

    He pointed out that the expanded meeting aims to exchange views on the most prominent issues facing the business sector.

     

    During the meeting, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Qonfula, gave a presentation on academic experiences in the environment and food sector.​
